Last day in Osaka

View from the Umeda Sky Building

And so our journey comes to an end. And what a journey it has been. Our expectations were high from the start, but still they were all exceeded with flying colours.

We faced a lot of friendly people, hospitality and understanding from our hosts as well as people on the streets, stores and restaurants.

We also got to witness exceptional beauty in many different forms from the blossoming sakura to the noble silence of the temples and shrines.

We visited many breathtakingly beautiful places and enjoyed amazing views. Together with our new friends we got to see places and experience things that are out of reach for ordinary travellers.

Good food and drinks, new ingredients, beautiful presentation and pure flavors made our trip not only aesthetically pleasing but tasty as well.

None of these beautiful memories would have been made without the Hanako-network. This kind of cooperation and exchange between countries is an incredible resource, and it's a privilege to be a part of it all.

It's a pleasure to know that Salpaus Further Education has an attitude of opennes and expansion regarding international communication and cooperation.

Naturally our special thanks go to Katsuki Etsuko-san for all the help she has provided us and all the effort she put into making our two weeks unforgettable. We hope we can some day return the favor in Finland

Letting go is a part of life. If you never leave you can never come back either. Beauty and happy moments often include a piece of longing.

Our deepest gratitude to all - until next time!
