We are a father and daughter from Finland
- and we love to travel!
Vesa is a cooking teacher in Salpaus Further Education, Lahti, Finland. His interests naturally include food and drink, but also things like music, movies, fishing, sports, camping and other outdoor activities.
Joanna is a second year University student in Jyväskylä. She majors in history and her minor subjects include things like pedagogy, Japanese language and the Finnish University Network for Asian Studies' program for East and Southeast Asia. She works part time as a dance teacher for kids from 3 to 5 years old. Her interests include dancing (especially ballet), blogging, sports and the arts in many forms ranging from traditional to digital.
Our trip to Japan is Vesa's business trip organized by the Hanako -network for the purpose of increasing future student exchange in Japan and building contacts.
